Google to launch “Startup School India” to support 10k Entrepreneurs in Tier 2, Tier 3 cities
Google announced the launch of Startup School India on the 6th of July, an initiative to gather information in order to help the startups in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. A nine-week virtual programme which will bring startups, investors and the whole ecosystem closer
What does the nine-week programme offer?
- Fireside chats
- Bringing investors, and entrepreneurs together
- Maintaining business standards
- Subjects will include: Fintech, job search, social media, business to business, business to consumer (e-commerce), networking, product strategy, user acquisition, product user value, app designing
- The programme provides flexibility for the founders to pick and choose the modules.
The need for a Startup School is so that a startup doesn’t fail. 90 percent of the startups fail because they lack strategy, vision and innovation, financial restraint, lack of awareness. The Startup School will aim in solving the issues of growing startups, offering them solutions. By giving the founders proper access to knowledge and resources, they will know which direction to go to and how to grow a business. Entrepreneurs will have a chance to interact with other people, opportunities to gain insight and how to grow as a founder of a startup.
