Homegrown AR/VR tech startup AutoVRse raised $2 M Seed funding from Lumikai
An in-house venture capital fund called Lumikai, which focuses on gaming and interactive media, led a $2 million seed round for AutoVRse, a startup developing AR/VR technology.
Rajat Monga, who co-founded TensorFlow, and Inference.io are two more investors. Yash Kotak, the creator and CEO of Jumper.ai, Viswanathan Krishnamurthy, the former CIO/VP at Yahoo & Eaton, Deepak Kumar, the Chief Customer Officer at Observe.AI, and early investors at Fractal.
Using the money, the company will expand its enterprise product, “VRseBuilder,” to facilitate the large-scale VR deployment needed to digitally transform heavy industry and manufacturing companies’ sales, design, and training processes.
In order to facilitate the digital transformation of conventional industries, Ashwin Jaishanker and Adarsh Muthappa founded VRseBuilder, a comprehensive, modular technology stack and SaaS platform that includes a ready-made VR content library, a VR-native Learning Management System, a deployment platform and knowledge repository, and a Unity SDK with a no-code editor.
The company has created “District M,” a cutting-edge social multiplayer VR rhythm game, and conducts research and development to enhance its enterprise product using its own game lab.
The startup asserts that it has previously provided VR solutions to numerous international businesses, such as Ultratech Cements, Aditya Birla Group, Godrej, Bosch, Shell, and Tata Motors.
