E-commerce industry leader Flipkart awarded RPL certificates to 150 graduates of a skill India training project aiming at offering comprehensive skill development to logistics professionals and increasing their prospects of employment in the global supply chain.
Germany, Denmark, Australia, and Saudi Arabia are just a few of the nations that recognise the certificate.
The upskilling of 150 technicians, which was done in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government and the Logistics Skill Sector Council, will help bridge the skill gap and foster talent in the state, as well as create a pool of skilled workers for the fast-growing e-commerce logistics industry and contribute to economic growth.
Flipkart has been leading a mission to skill and develop industry-certified talent, collaborating closely with the UP-Skill Development Mission and the LSC to assist the government’s goal of skilling and nurturing the country’s youthful potential. It has also collaborated on the development of training modules aimed at offering an in-depth insight and expertise of the supply chain’s end-to-end procedures.
Refurbishment, installation, material handling, customer management, storage, distribution, crisis management, knowing local transportation rules and regulations, and soft skills necessary to communicate with consumers are all included in the course.
