SA startup Cue raised $2 M Seed funding to accelerate customer service with AI
In order to further integrate AI into its platform and support its growth, South African startup Cue, a rapidly expanding supplier of AI-enabled customer support chat software, has closed a US $2 million seed round of funding.
Using chatbots and live chat on social media and WhatsApp, Cue, a company founded in 2015, helps businesses assist customers promptly and effectively. After working with more than 300 clients over the previous five years, the startup recently opened an office in the UK.
When Media announced in October that it had raised US $500,000 to further its goal of enhancing customer service through the use of state-of-the-art large language models (LLM), it announced that it had secured an additional US $1.5 million from angel investors to close its seed round and hastened the development of its customer service suite’s advanced AI capabilities.
Businesses will be able to automate routine customer inquiries, improve support performance through data analytics, and obtain invaluable insights to optimize customer engagement strategies with deeper AI integration.
“We are thrilled to have secured US $2 million in funding, which will enable us to take Cue to the next level and another big step forward towards our next milestone,” said Richard Nischk, CEO of Cue. “This investment will fuel our mission to deliver cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that transform the customer service landscape globally. With deeper AI integration, businesses can streamline their support operations and help their customers in a much faster and more valuable way.”
