Automation platform Linnia acquired by Sprout Solutions
Process automation platform Linnia has been purchased by Philippine-based Sprout Solutions, an HR and payroll platform, for an unknown sum.
Users of Sprout may automate time-consuming procurement and HR activities with the aid of Linnia. Additionally, it simplifies the hiring process.
Aiah, a Philippine AI company started in 2013 by Gian Paulo dela Rama and Joyce Villadolid, first created and ran the process automation platform.
Dela Rama stated that his business would be able to focus more on creating a market for APIs with an AI focus thanks to the purchase. The marketplace will be the first of its sort in Southeast Asia, he noted.
Meanwhile, Patrick and Alex Gentry, a husband-and-wife team, founded Sprout Solutions in 2015. In a series A financing headed by Steve Cohen’s Point72 Ventures in 2019, it raised US $6 million.
