Circle of Games raised $1 M Equity funding from Nazara, The Hashgraph Association
The Swiss-based Hashgraph Association and Nazara Technologies FZ LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Limited, have contributed $1 million in equity funding to the Web3 multi-gaming platform Circle of Games (COG).
The funds raised in 2024 will be utilized to accelerate the company’s go-to-market plan, enhance platform functionality, and expand its global reach throughout the US, EU, Middle East & Africa, and Asia.
Since its founding, Circle of Games—which was led by CEO Rabilal Thapa, CTO Rajeeb VC, and CMO Rohit Tiwari—has amassed over 250,000 registered Android users and is quickly growing. By Q2, the platform plans to release its app for iOS devices.
COG intends to increase the number of games available on its platform from the current six to over ten by Q4 2024, with over 250,000 registered users.
The clientele of COG encompasses a global network of web3 projects and ecosystems, such as Chingari, Solana, Foundership, KGeN/IndiGGMetarun, TheFishVerse, NinjaGames, and multiple gaming guilds/DAOs. Through these alliances, COG gains immediate access to a 500 million strong gaming community spread across more than 50 countries.
Nazara recently declared that, within the next 24 months, it would allocate $100 million to mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
