Dunamu to invest $380 M in 500 startups
A South Korean fintech business named Dunamu would invest US $380 million in 500 companies, creating 10,000 employments over the following five years, according to The Korea Herald.
In order to support startup counseling initiatives like Up Start Incubator, which seeks to mentor Web3 startups, and Up Start Platform, which will connect businesses with investors and Dunamu, the company—which runs local cryptocurrency exchange platform Upbit—plans to create 8,000 positions.
Additionally, Dunamu plans to create consulting centres for Upbit customers in Daegu, Gwangju, Busan, and Daejon and to employ roughly 1,000 people for development positions.
The blockchain business announced ambitions to partner with South Korean entertainment giant Hybe in the US earlier this year. The brand-new company, whose debut was scheduled for July, will offer NFT gear for Hybe’s artist roster, which also includes K-pop superstar BTS. These digital materials will be available for purchase, exchange, and display by fans.
