Equity research startup Multibagg AI raises Rs 1.5 Cr Pre-seed funding from AJVC

In a pre-seed funding round headed by AJVC, AI-native equity research platform Multibagg AI has raised Rs 1.5 crore. The startup had previously raised Rs 65 lakh from friends and family, bringing its total capital raised to Rs 2.15 crore.
As the business seeks to improve its AI-driven research and analytics capabilities, the new funding will mostly be utilized for team growth and product development.
Through an AI-native platform, Multibagg AI offers institutional-grade equity research and analytics to Indian retail stock market investors. The startup wants to establish a multibillion-dollar global financial technology business from India in the equity research sector.
The business claims that it has recently surpassed 10,000 users on its platform and generated more than Rs 10 lakh in recurring revenue (ARR).
The platform is being developed to bridge the gap between the increasing number of retail investors and the scarcity of skilled research experts, according to a statement from the company’s founder and CEO, Aaditya Anand.
About six months ago, Multibagg AI launched its beta, and since then, users have connected portfolios valued at more than Rs 5,000 crore and engaged with its AI assistant for research-related questions.
AJVC has supported a number of early-stage startups in various industries during the last year. AI email client Faraday, fintech startup Chop Finance, AI-driven verification platform TruFides AI, consumer brand Mithila Foods, mobility services startup GaadiMech, proptech company Iztri, and sustainability-focused startup Nuyug are among its most recent investments.
