Legrand Group India receives prestigious GEEIS-SDG Trophy awarded by ARBORUS

In recognition of its efforts to support women’s education, Legrand Group India, a specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure, has been awarded the coveted GEEIS-SDG prize by ARBORUS.

GEEIS stands for Gender Equality European and International Standard, and it is an internationally recognized label for businesses that not only show a strong and effective commitment to achieving gender equality in the workplace but also go above and beyond by implementing equal processes and good practices.

One of the primary social initiatives of the Legrand Group’s CSR is to promote education and empower females. The scholarship programmes, which began in 2018, are meant to provide talented and deserving female students with opportunities to study engineering and architecture at reputable Indian universities. One of Legrand Group India’s main emphasis areas is to encourage women to pursue careers in technology and manufacturing in order to equip them to be future leaders.
