MEST Africa Challenge selected 45 regional finalists

The latest MEST Africa Challenge has selected 45 startups from all over the continent as regional finalists. The winner will receive US $50,000 in equity funding.

MEST is a pan-African software and entrepreneurship training program, seed fund, and incubator that was founded in Ghana in 2008 by serial entrepreneur Jorn Lyseggen. It assists in the launch of technology startups throughout the continent.

The media stated in August that the fifth edition of the MEST Africa Challenge was now accepting applications and that 45 businesses from Senegal (5), Ghana (10), Nigeria (10), Kenya (10), South Africa (10) and Nigeria (10) have been selected as regional finalists. The main reward up for grabs is a US $50,000 equity investment, together with a long-term collaboration and continuous assistance from MEST Africa.

Snark Health, Urbantechforhope, Pigee, Letaji, Investa Farm, Tulix, Circularity Space, Digital Realm Entertainment, and Moti are the ten Kenyan startups that were chosen, and Edanra, Eazy Chain, FlowersGH, Tourizilla, QKnow Edtech, Bouquet, Masters Hive Centre for Innovation, FarmWallet, Chestify AI Labs, and Advance Pharma Innovations are the ten Ghanaian startups that were represented.

Innovastra, SmartTeller, Artisan Oga, Blueroom Care, Sproutly, OneHealth, Konnadex Technologies, iblooy, HealthGo, BOS Technology, Insaaph, Smart Food Growing Technologies, DeepLeaf, Thola, Aurora Media Group, SafeAfrica, and Biocertica are the companies representing Nigeria and South Africa, respectively.

InterSIP International, Yoonema, SAYNA, Microact, and RAYNIS are the five Senegalese ventures that have been chosen.

Now, these startups will compete to show a panel of judges how they could make an impact in order to get into the final pitch, get noticed, make connections with investors, and possibly get funding to grow their impact.
