Pan-African network AfriLabs adds 18 new hubs to reach 500 members
The Pan-African hubs network AfriLabs has added 18 new hubs, bringing its total number of members over 500.
By connecting technology hubs, startups, investors, and other important ecosystem players, AfriLabs is a network organization dedicated to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship on the continent.
With the addition of 18 new members, its network now spans 54 African nations and consists of 514 hubs.
Vortex Central, Lhaude Africa, darey.io, Kristina Jade Centre, and CorestreamNG are five Nigerian companies that are growing their innovation footprint in Lagos and Jos. Wislaw Education and Support Fund, Enactus UMaT in Tarkwa, and the Inovech Foundation and Centre for Enterprise Learning in Accra have all been added to Ghana.
The additions include two Kenyan organizations, the Lolwe AI Hub and JHUB Africa, both located in Nairobi, and three South African organizations, the Empire Partner Foundation and I’m In Startup Hub in Johannesburg and Savant Technology Incubator in Cape Town.
In addition to the Makhala Thekiso Foundation and the Lesotho Entrepreneurship Hub and Seed Financing Facility in Maseru, Mektoub (Burkina Faso) and the Boris Bison Youth Empowerment Business Incubator (Cameroon) are new members of the network.
