STARFINDO and Arrow Electronics collaborate to assist Indonesian tech startups
To support tech startups in Indonesia’s ecosystem, Arrow Electronics, a global provider of technology solutions, and Asosiasi Startup for Industry Indonesia (STARFINDO) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
Through this partnership, startups will have access to state-of-the-art electronics technologies and critical engineering know-how, enabling them to spearhead advancements in electric vehicle (EvTech) and artificial intelligence of things (AIoT), according to a statement released by Arrow Electronics on Tuesday.
In 2023, a study found that Indonesia had the second-best startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
Support from the industry and other sectors is essential to the tech startup ecosystem’s long-term growth.
STARFINDO is dedicated to supporting Indonesian tech startups as they expand.
STARFINDO provides startups with access to funding sources, technology ecosystem support, and domestic and international product marketing opportunities through partnerships with government agencies, institutions, and the private sector.

The goal of Arrow and STARFINDO is to give startups the information they need to speed up their innovation process.
A recent AIoT and EvTech seminar in Jakarta, Indonesia, where Arrow partnered with a number of global technology suppliers, including Diodes, Inolux, Onsemi, Silicon Labs, STMicroelectronics, and Yageo Group, served as an example of this dedication. The most recent market trends were presented by engineering specialists from Arrow and these technology providers during the seminar.
Through live demonstrations, they also presented new AIoT, EvTech, and battery products and technologies, giving over 90 attendees a firsthand look at how these technologies are used in practical situations.
