$1.5 M Pre-seed funding raised by SaaS product Inkle

Picus Capital, Saison Capital, and Force Ventures led a $1.5 million pre-seed fundraising round for Inkle, a US CPA SaaS platform centered on human conversation.

Anand Krishna founded Inkle in late 2021 to offer software that makes it simple and affordable for US businesses with foreign founders to manage tax, accounting, and compliance. For multinational corporations, a scalable, on-demand, and economical back office is created with Inkle’s full-stack software and collaboration capabilities.

Inkle claims that the platform provides live chat with CPAs and bookkeepers, clear dashboards with deadline alarms, team collaboration, a secure corporate document vault, and open charging. Along with managing complicated group consolidation, Inkle Books keeps account of all intercompany financial transactions inside the group, including royalty payments, foreign direct investment, and transfer pricing.

The company, which has offices in Bengaluru and Delaware, claims to provide compliances including registered agent, mailroom, and reporting for state, federal, and international regulations. The SaaS interfaces of the customer and CPA software are continually being updated to link the three sides.

Inkle asserts that it has grown sales seven times in the last year to hundreds of thousands of dollars and established a strong leadership position in the US-India corridor despite being bootstrapped and operating in secret up to this point. The business also says it will enter new markets, including crypto taxes and new trade routes like US-Canada and US-LATAM. Leading IT firms including Salesken, Mailmodo, Zoko, and DriveTrain are among its clientele.
