$100k investment pool available for female entrepreneurs in Africa’s energy sector

The OPEN fund will consider applications from female founders in the African energy industry for investment of up to $100,000.

OPEN is a project of the CSI Energy Group, a diverse network of firms focused on Africa that offers sustainable solutions to the energy industry across the continent. OPEN is searching for women-led energy enterprises with a minimum of three workers and an annual turnover of more than US $25,000.

The fund will make investments of up to $100,000 in women-owned firms operating in the energy sector, helping them expand by giving them access to capital and industry knowledge that will maximize their impact and profitability.
