12-15 companies to receive $20 M investment from Playbook Partners

Over the next two years, the growth capital firm Playbook Partners intends to invest about $20 million, or roughly Rs 175 crore, in 12–15 different companies.

“Our focus is on companies that have surpassed Rs 100 crore in turnover, where our capital and expertise can help fast-track their growth to the next level,” Playbook Partners Founder and Managing Partner Vikas Choudhury told media.

With planned investments of up to $20 million each in 12–15 companies, the company is focusing on high-potential ventures in the SaaS, e-commerce, healthtech, climate-tech, B2B, and B2C sectors.

Digital India is the area of expertise for operator-driven growth capital (GC) company Playbook Partners. The business supports growth-stage, technologically advanced businesses with solid unit economics as they pursue market leadership by investing in them.

Among the businesses in the firm’s investment portfolio are Myntra, PolicyBazaar, InMobi, Nazara Technologies, Rapido, and Renee. It has supported international businesses like SpaceX and Stripe, but its primary investments have been in India.
