14 startups selected by Peak XV for 10th cohort of Surge
The tenth cohort of early-stage startups, consisting of 14 startups, has been launched by Peak XV Partners’ rapid scale-up program Surge.
Surge’s ninth cohort of early-stage startups, comprising 32 founders from 13 startups, was introduced earlier in October 2023. Over 350 founders and 150 startups are now part of the program, which now spans 10 cohorts and 17 sectors.
A stealth company in the specialty healthcare sector is among the Surge 10 companies, along with Amaani, Ambak, Auquan, Brainfish, Clout Kitchen, Dezy, Dubbing Ai, OrbitShift, Parseable, SalarySe, Tailcall, The Health Factory, and Wobot. The first Middle Eastern company listed on Surge is Amaani.
In addition to receiving up to $3 million in seed funding per startup, Surge claims that its founders will also receive full support and a committed partnership from the Surge operating and investment teams. Help with marketing, technology, product development, and hiring are all included.
A plethora of tools and resources are available through the program, such as cloud storage, marketing tools, software, services, and benefits valued at over $2 million.
Additionally, each participating company will receive one-on-one mentoring from international operators and founders, transforming Surge into a platform for startups hoping to dominate their home markets and, frequently, expand internationally.
Between October 2024 and February 2025, the Surge 10 program will offer a combination of online and in-person events and sessions centred around topics such as product development, go-to-market tactics, brand building, sales optimization, and founder development.
