$500k Forbes competition invites North African startups
To find new companies devoted to bringing about big, deep beneficial impacts via technical innovation, Forbes and the Aviram Foundation have established a US $500,000 challenge.
The competition, which offers a US $500,000 grand prize, seeks out unique goods or services that will have a positive influence on society, the environment, or people. In the contest from the previous year, hundreds of entries were received, and the Israeli firm RedC Biotech won first place.
Startups from Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco are welcome to enter, as well as those from Bahrain, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Businesses that are in the pre-seed or seed stages and have a proven idea that benefits mankind are eligible to apply. Their total investment must not have gone beyond $5 million USD.
The deadline for submissions is January 30.
