Virat and Vikas Kohli join Vault as strategic investors

Cricket player and businessman Virat Kohli and his brother Vikas Kohli have joined premium franchise-led fitness chain Vault by Virat Kohli as strategic investors, formalizing a combined 28% equity position in the company.

According to a news statement from Vault by Virat Kohli, the new funding will be utilized to expedite the company’s national expansion through its franchise partner led growth plan.

Vault by Virat Kohli is a high-end fitness and wellness chain that was established in 2023 by Mukesh Gogia. For strength and cardio equipment, the firm has worked with exercise equipment and recovery companies like Matrix, Torque USA, and Precor; Hyperice powers its specialized recovery rooms.

According to the company, Vault combines fitness equipment, structured training programmes, and recovery focused facilities. Its offerings span strength training, functional fitness, recovery, and lifestyle wellness.

The Delhi based company has a presence across Tier I and Tier II cities, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Gorakhpur, and Hyderabad. As part of its next phase of expansion, it plans to increase its presence in Tier III cities, targeting demand for organised premium fitness infrastructure.

According to the company, Vault serves more than 30,000 members across its network. Following the revised equity structure, it plans to expand to more than 50 operational clubs by the end of the year, with club sizes ranging from around 6,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft.
