Pune-based Megavision Diagnostics acquired by Redcliffe Labs for Rs 40 Cr

Megavision Diagnostics Center, located in Pune, was purchased by omnichannel diagnostics company Redcliffe Labs for about Rs 40 crore.
By merging imaging and pathology capabilities into a single platform, the acquisition will assist Redcliffe in growing its integrated diagnostics offering.
Megavision Diagnostics adds cutting-edge imaging capabilities to Redcliffe’s current pathology network by running two MRI-equipped centers in Pune. According to the corporation, the acquisition will give patients access to a greater variety of diagnostic services via its network.
As part of the deal, Redcliffe will keep all of Megavision’s employes. According to the corporation, the action will increase access to diagnostic services in the area while guaranteeing continuity of patient care.
Redcliffe’s plan to grow its diagnostics network thru alliances and acquisitions in important regions includes this acquisition. The business purchased Sarvodaya Diagnostics in Ajmer and Prime Sonography & Diagnostic Center in Kota during the previous year. Redcliffe Medicentre Imaging & Labs currently oversees both.
According to Redcliffe, it operates in more than 220 cities thru more than 80 owned laboratories, covering more than 4,000 pincodes, and has served more than 1 crore consumers to far. Over 3,600 diagnostic tests are available from the company.
As existing diagnostic chains and genomics-focused businesses employ acquisitions to increase their geographic reach and add new capabilities, the acquisition coincides with an increase in consolidation in India’s diagnostics industry in 2026.
In May, Dr Lal PathLabs acquired 100% of Mumbai-based Shahbazkers Diagnostic Centre for up to Rs 20 crore, expanding its presence in Maharashtra. During the same month, MedGenome acquired a majority stake in Mumbai-based Siddhi Diagnostics & Research Centre (SDRC).
Neuberg Diagnostics also acquired a controlling stake in Mumbai-based NM Medical, adding its network of 18 centres across Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. The deal expanded Neuberg’s presence across pathology, radiology and cardiology as the company prepares for a planned IPO.
The recent deals reflect a shift in India’s diagnostics market toward integrated platforms that combine pathology, radiology, imaging, genomics and preventive healthcare. Larger diagnostic players are also using acquisitions to expand their presence across Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.
