D2C Insider wraps up Frontier AI summit to examine AI’s potential in consumer businesses

In Gurugram, D2C Insider ended Frontier, a D2C AI Summit that brought together over 150 D2C entrepreneurs and CXOs, more than 25 AI professionals, and representatives from over 100 companies to talk about how AI is changing consumer businesses.
Instead of considering AI as a stand-alone technology, the event concentrated on the impact of AI across discovery, customer engagements, conversion, retention, operations, and unit economics.
As businesses transition from testing with specific AI tools to integrating the technology into their operations, the agenda looked at how AI can affect consumer brands’ business models and P&Ls.
Four AI bootcamps, four operator-led panel discussions, networking opportunities, a fireside chat, and an AI Experience Zone were all part of the summit.
Base.com’s CEO for India, Pradeep Sekhar, gave a training at the beginning of the event on using AI agents to track omnichannel profitability in real time.
A panel discussion titled “The AI-Native Consumer: How AI Is Rewriting Discovery, Conversation & Conversion” came next. Ojasvi Bhatia, Lead AI Partnerships, India at Meta; Apurva Mudgal, Product at WhatsApp; Ayushi Gudwani; Vaibhav Makhija; Aditya Singhal; and Sahil Jindal, Managing Director of the Jindal Group, were among the panelists.
The technology infrastructure facilitating the implementation of AI was the main topic of the pre-lunch meeting. Abhishek Shah launched the afternoon with a fireside chat with Nitin Agarwal and Gaurav Mangla, CEO of fastrr by Shiprocket. A workshop on autonomous AI came next.
Commenting on the objective behind the summit, Abhishek Shah, Chief Evangelist at D2C Insider, said that while many founders have experimented with AI tools, relatively few have integrated AI into their core business operations.
The summit also featured an AI Experience Zone, speed networking sessions and curated founder introductions based on participants’ business stage, category and growth ambitions.
Drawing from D2C Insider’s community of more than 30,000 D2C founders and operators, Frontier provided a platform for entrepreneurs and ecosystem players to discuss AI adoption and explore potential collaborations.
