VCs and corporations may access continent’s startup ecosystem with New Disrupt Africa Intelligence support

Disrupt Africa, a tech news and research portal, has introduced “Disrupt Intelligence,” which provides signals, founder intelligence, sector research, and selective scouting support to corporates and venture capitalists wishing to interact—or continue to interact—with the African tech industry.

One of the most well-known technology ecosystem media brands in Africa is Disrupt Africa, which was founded in 2014 by Tom Jackson and Gabriella Mulligan. The site integrates a proprietary database of over 3,000 African technology enterprises with startup news, fundraising intelligence, ecosystem commentary, academic publications, and podcast material.

“African technology markets remain attractive, but fragmented, unevenly documented, and difficult for external organisations to read accurately. Investors, DFIs, accelerators, corporates and ecosystem builders need credible signals before committing capital, partnership resources, programme budgets, or market-entry effort,” Disrupt Africa co-founder Tom Jackson said.

Here comes Disrupt Africa Intelligence, which uses sector research, founder intelligence, reliable market signals, and selective scouting assistance to help organizations make smarter judgments about the African digital ecosystem. Prior to any longer-term retainer, research mandate, or partnership, it is advised to begin with a 90-day pilot program that is intended to demonstrate value rapidly.
