Unity Retail secure six-figure Seed funding
Pakistan: Unity Retail, a Pakistan-based E-commerce retail solution startup, has raised a six-figure Seed funding round, led by Boston Equity Partners.
Founded by Atif Sami and Shoaib Ahsan in 2017 and relaunched in 2019, Unity is a retail network that allows brands to easily sell on multiple online/offline marketplaces with a click of a button by replacing the existing processes that the startup states are complicated, cumbersome, and redundant.
The founders saw an opportunity in connecting E-commerce platforms directly to courier services, streamlining order processing as well as delivery. They offer an end solution for E-commerce platforms to automatically process orders and thus removing the need for manual verification.
Arif Baigmohammed, Co-Founder of Boston Equity Partners commented, “Unity Retail is singularly positioned for E-commerce enablement. While the demand for the service is significant at the enterprise level, the real scale is where the platform makes it easy for SMEs and home-based entrepreneurs to leverage the E-commerce opportunity through a plug and play solution.”
The newly raised funds will be used for marketing and product development. Unity Retail is looking to expand further in Pakistan as well as beyond the country to the MENA region.
