Unknown funding raised by Moroccan e-health startup Blink Pharma to expand operations
Blink Pharma, a Moroccan e-health firm, has received an unknown sum of money from Azur Innovation Fund to help it grow its operations and develop new products.
Blink Pharma is a B2B marketplace that allows pharmacists, labs, and wholesalers to exchange orders and make payments. It was founded by Ali Sami and Adil Bertul in 2020. The portal also has a news and information area, and more than 3,500 pharmacists have already signed up to use it.
The firm has received its first round of investment from the Azur Innovation Fund, which it will use to expand its operations and create additional healthcare solutions.
“We have the ambition to accelerate the digital footprint around healthcare services. We started our journey with the pharmacy to expand our services to the doctor and the patient. The healthcare sector is being profoundly transformed by digital technology and we want to support healthcare stakeholders in this transformation,” Sami said.
“More applications are in the pipeline, always aiming to support healthcare professionals. We are proud to have convinced a major investment fund like Azur Innovation Fund, allowing us to realise the full potential of digitisation in healthcare.
