$5 M Series A funding raised by SaaS firm imBee

ImBee, a chat management firm with offices in Hong Kong, has secured $5 million in a series A fundraising round that was spearheaded by DCM Ventures.

The company’s goals to enhance its services and increase its operations in both current and new markets around Asia Pacific will be supported by additional cash.

“We are very much looking forward to using this capital to expand product features, such as digital know-your-customer and identity verification,” said Ken Chu, imBee co-founder and CEO, as per reports.

Chu and Leo Wong, who also serves as COO, created ImBee in 2019. The SaaS startup helps companies engage with their consumers and staff by providing one single inbox for rapid communication channels with business tools and workflow automation.

Its customers are from a variety of sectors, including financial services, insurance, high-end retail, and health and wellness businesses. Additionally, ImBee is present in Singapore and Taiwan.
