Audio platform Vobble raised $1 M Seed funding from Lumikai

The platform Vobble, which specializes in audio content for children, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Lumikai Capital, with additional participation from Blume Founders Fund and other investors.

Namita Thapar, the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, presented the Bengaluru-based company with a proposal during Shark Tank season III.

Vobble stated in a press release that the money will be used for product development, growing its user base while facilitating them in determining the best product-market fit, and improving its AI capabilities.

Vobble is a 2022 startup that provides story-series, podcasts, music, and audio-shows. Neha Sharma and Sowmya co-founded the company. To create an auditory experience, each piece includes sound effects, background music, and dialogue.

Vobble says it has teamed up with publishers to showcase and strive to provide high-quality products, including HarperCollins, Scholastic, Rebel Girls, Tulika, HasBro (Peppa & Monopoly), and Amar Chitra Katha.

The Vobble Box, the company’s flagship product, offers an approach to storytelling that fosters imagination and promotes learning. It also comes with activity books and kid-safe headphones.

The other platforms that have made a name for themselves in this market are Tiya Yalla, TT Voice, and Dizhua.
