Gut wellness brand Lifechart raised $500K Seed funding
The gut wellness company Lifechart has raised $500,000 in a seed funding round. $250,000 was contributed by Prajay Advisors LLP, with the remaining funds coming from Agility Ventures, Expert Dojo, and a convertible instrument group of angel investors that included Ahana Gautam, Nitish Mittersain, Sarath Sura, and Marwari Angels.
In 2022, Lifechart had previously raised $200,000 in a pre-seed round led by Nitish Mittersain of Nazara Technologies and Expert Dojo.
According to a press release from the company, the new funding will be used to expand Lifechart’s AI capabilities, introduce exclusive diagnostic tools, and build a brand that caters to tier 1 cities.
Using AI-driven predictive technology and products developed by BAMS and BHMS doctors, Lifechart was co-founded in 2022 by Mukul Shah and Mansi Sharma with the goal of addressing the growing gut health issues in India.
In order to address common gut problems like constipation, fatty liver, piles, gas, and acidity, the brand intends to launch plant-based microbiome-focused products and comprehensive wellness kits.
Lifechart’s initiatives position the company to capture a significant share of the global gut health market, which according to market research could reach $18 billion by 2025–2026. With over 250,000 customers primarily in tier II, III, and IV cities, their predictive AI model aims to customize services based on demographic and regional health patterns.
