Latest Qualcomm Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Programme open for applications

Qualcomm, a leading global wireless technology company, is now accepting applications for its most recent iteration of its Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program, which provides startups with access to engineers, coaching, and intellectual property protection advice.

The company listed on the NASDAQ An American multinational corporation, Qualcomm develops wireless technology-related semiconductors, software, and services.

Media reported that the company had launched its African Innovation Platform in December 2022. This platform includes the Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program, an equity-free mentorship initiative that will identify promising early-stage startups interested in applying cutting-edge processing and connectivity technologies to innovative hardware and end-to-end systems solutions. These companies will receive business coaching, access to engineering consultation for product development, and advice on intellectual property protection.

Applications are open until February 16, with the programme taking place between April and December.
