MTandT Rentals secured Rs 100 Cr from ValueQuest S.C.A.L.E. Fund II

ValueQuest S.C.A.L.E. Fund II has contributed Rs 100 crore to MTandT Rentals, a supplier of aerial work platforms and ground protection access solutions.
The Chennai-based business had previously raised Rs 62 crore from family offices and early-stage investors. This is the company’s first institutional or private equity funding.
According to a press release from the company, the new funds will be utilized to support the next stage of growth and expansion throughout India.
Under the direction of Rakesh Modi, MTandT Rentals offers equipment solutions with an emphasis on operational efficiency, safety, and dependability for the infrastructure, industrial, and construction sectors. In addition to ground protection access solutions like PortaDeck composite mats, it offers aerial work platforms like boom lifts, scissor lifts, and spider lifts.
Additionally, it offers services like technical support, operator training, and equipment maintenance.
With greater asset utilization, quicker turnaround times, and enhanced operational efficiency, the company intends to use the money to support big, complicated projects. Additionally, it is well-positioned to profit from growing demand in a variety of industries, including data centers, warehousing, semiconductors, airports, renewable energy, metro rail, and large industrial facilities.
From FY21 to FY25, MTandT Rentals reported a CAGR of more than 48%.
