Tenth Africa Tech Summit London set for May 29

Africa’s most powerful tech leaders, international investors, regulators, and innovators will come together for the 10th edition of Africa Tech Summit London, the premier African tech conference in Europe, on May 29 at the London Stock Exchange to chart the next phase of expansion for the continent’s digital economy.
More than 350 investors, founders, entrepreneurs, and business executives will gather at the most recent Africa Tech Summit London to discuss the technologies, trends, and opportunities influencing Africa’s next ten years, from fintech and artificial intelligence to climate innovation, venture growth, and digital infrastructure.
“When Africa Tech Summit was born in 2016, the ecosystem looked very different. Many ventures were purely focused on securing funding, formal VC activity was still emerging, and most startups were simply surviving round to round,” said Andrew Fassnidge, managing director of Africa Tech Summit.
“The past decade has also brought some tough shakeouts and painful losses, yet through that volatility, we’ve seen a remarkable evolution – African tech ventures are scaling across borders, driving trade, and we have also seen a growing number of mergers and exits as the ecosystem enters its next phase of maturity.
In order to present to investors and international partners on May 29, startups are encouraged to apply for the investment showcase by April 22.
“Investment remains a critical part of this journey, and the Investment Showcase plays a key role in connecting high‑growth ventures with the capital, strategic partners, and market access needed to accelerate international expansion,” Fassnidge said.
