Spill Games raises $3.1 M Seed funding from Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital

Center Court Capital and PeerCapital co-led a $3.1 million seed funding round for mobile gaming startup Spill Games.
In December 2024, All In Capital, M-League, and other angel investors contributed $750K to the Bengaluru-based startup.
According to a press release from Spill Games, the proceeds will be used to expand the team selectively, deepen its internal technology stack, and scale its portfolio of current and upcoming games.
Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg co-founded Spill Games in July 2024 as a mobile gaming studio with the goal of creating puzzle and casual games for a worldwide player base. The startup uses its in-house tooling and exclusive Spillway engine to facilitate the quick development, iteration, and scaling of high-caliber games.
Spill Games claims that its internal engine and tooling layer facilitate the modularization and acceleration of important aspects of game development, including analytics, retention, monetization, and live operations. Because of this, the company can launch much more quickly than traditional studios, ship games about four times faster, and run more profitably.
Market research predicts that mobile gaming will surpass $107 billion worldwide in 2026.
With a portfolio of five live games, including Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, and Zen Math Crossword, the company presently operates in the casual and puzzle gaming market. It has achieved positive unit economics in three of its titles.
In addition to expanding its monetization mix beyond its ad-led model, including new launches in the hybrid-casual and in-app purchase segments, Spill intends to test over 20 more prototypes across casual and hybrid-casual formats over the course of the next 18 months.
Scopely, Zynga, Tripledot Studios, King, and Playrix are some of the other significant participants in this market.
