Rebalance led $350K Pre-seed funding raised by travel gear brand NORI

With participation from Vijay Shekhar Sharma, VSS Investco, and other angel investors, Bengaluru-based NORI, a travel gear brand created especially for women, raised $350K in a pre-seed funding round led by Rebalance.

According to a press release from NORI, the additional money will be utilized to broaden its range of products and bolster its online and offline presence.

Meenakshi Vyas and Rashika Nayak co-founded NORI in 2025 with the goal of creating luggage, bags, packing cubes, and travel organizers that are specific to how women travel.

Women, particularly those who travel alone or on business, are becoming one of the fastest-growing consumer segments as India’s travel market expands quickly.

However, the majority of travel gear is still created with generic use cases in mind, frequently ignoring how women actually pack and travel.

With improved organization, ergonomics, and a design language that doesn’t shy away from being feminine, NORI’s most recent product, the Carry On Wheelie, is based on how women actually pack and travel. The same product philosophy is used in the brand’s Organisers line, which served as the foundation for its early success.

Over 4,000 customers have been served by NORI in just a few months since its launch, and it is on track to reach an annual run rate of Rs 2 crore. An NPS above 9 and a 20% repeat purchase rate within a 60-day window are early indicators that are uncommon for Indian D2C brands at this point and point to a distinct market gap, according to internal data.
