BEENEXT led Rs 30 Cr Pre-seed funding raised by edtech startup ProLearn

In a pre-seed fundraising round headed by BEENEXT and involving Eximius Ventures, Antler, and a number of angel investors, edtech startup ProLearn has raised Rs 30 crore, or roughly $3.2 million.
According to a news release from the company, the revenues will be used to grow curriculum-aligned content, improve its AI and reasoning infrastructure, and speed up product development.
ProLearn is an AI-native edtech firm that was founded in April of this year and provides K–12 students and candidates for competitive exams with a tailored, conversational AI teacher. The startup’s learning companion is made to recognize a student’s learning level and modify its instructional strategy in real time.
The Bengaluru-based startup seeks to expand access to high-quality personal tutoring, which has traditionally been expensive and inaccessible to many students in India. The platform helps students prepare for competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET. Its AI tutor interacts with students, explains concepts, and asks questions tailored to their strengths and learning needs.
ProLearn plans to hire senior talent across AI/ML, product, and growth functions while scaling its go-to-market efforts.
