Bessemer led $6.7 M funding raised by travel tech startup 30 Sundays

With participation from current backers Info Edge Ventures and Eximius, the Gurugram-based travel tech startup 30 Sundays has secured $6.7 million in a fundraising round headed by Bessemer Venture Partners.

The business had already raised $770,000.

According to a news statement from 30 Sundays, the additional funds will be utilized to increase the company’s product offerings, bolster its technological and artificial intelligence capabilities, develop its workforce, make investments in brand development and marketing, and facilitate its expansion into new markets and clientele.

Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj Punjani co-founded 30 Sundays in 2024, providing personalized honeymoon and romantic holiday packages. The business leverages generative AI to automate booking, customer qualifying, and itinerary planning.

Following its recent launch in New Zealand and Mauritius, the startup plans to expand into Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.

30 Sundays said it has reached an annualised gross booking value (GBV) run rate of around Rs 200 crore across Bali, Vietnam, the Maldives, and Thailand. The company also said it has integrated AI across sales and operations, including lead qualification, itinerary creation, follow ups, and reservations, resulting in a twofold improvement in sales team productivity.
