Michezo Sports raises $2.5 M Pre-series A funding from Centre Court Capital

Rainmatter, Zerodha’s investment arm, participated in the $2.5 million pre-Series A round led by Centre Court Capital for Michezo Sports, a sports infrastructure startup based in Bengaluru.

With new funding, Michezo intends to expand its distribution network for sporting goods and equipment and plans to enter new markets like swimming pools and civil sporting infrastructure.

In keeping with India’s aspirational sporting objectives, the startup is also considering public-private partnerships to assist state governments in building easily accessible, first-rate facilities for communities.

Michezo was established in 2019 and offers turnkey services for creating, constructing, and maintaining a range of athletic facilities. Athletic tracks, football and hockey turfs, badminton, squash, and other courts are among the 350 projects the company says it has finished.

Serving clients that range from clubs and real estate developers to schools and universities, Michezo claims that it adheres to international standards set by organizations such as FIFA and FIH.
