Ankit Jain launches Foundry with Rs 12 Cr Pre-seed investment

Ankit Jain, former managing director of Dyson India, has introduced Foundry, a consumer technology venture focused on premium home appliances. The company is developing products powered by proprietary, patent-pending technology, with its first offerings centred on the kitchen segment.

Foundry has secured Rs 12 crore in a pre-seed funding round jointly led by BEENEXT and Kettleborough VC. Other participants included Rishubh Satiya of Plix, Anindita Sampath of Yoga Bar and Anita Pramoda of Owned Outcomes.

The funds will be directed towards technology development and product engineering ahead of the company’s planned launch of its first kitchen appliance range in the second half of 2027, Foundry said in a press release.

The company aims to create appliances that bring together proprietary technology, industrial design and materials tailored to contemporary homes. It also intends to expand into categories beyond kitchen appliances.
