Applications now accepted to pitch at EU’s BlueInvest Africa event

Applications are now being accepted from startups who would like to pitch at the European Union’s BlueInvest Africa event in Lomé, Togo, October 15–16, in collaboration with the Government of Togo.
A premier platform that links creative African blue economy entrepreneurs with global investors and public stakeholders is BlueInvest Africa.
The goal of the 2025 event in Togo, which follows previous editions in Seychelles and Kenya, is to showcase investment-ready projects that support an inclusive and sustainable blue economy throughout Africa.
“BlueInvest Africa is more than just an event – it is a strategic platform to unlock sustainable investment opportunities in Africa’s blue economy, and a concrete example of EU-Africa cooperation in action,” said Charlina Vitcheva, director-general for maritime affairs and fisheries at the European Commission.
The EU’s Global Gateway strategy, which aims to improve investment flows between Africa and Europe by fostering long-term commercial partnerships, includes this edition.
