ASIF Ignite Africa programme invites applications from prototype-stage founders

The eight-week ASIF Ignite Africa initiative is open to African founders with climate adaption prototypes that require testing.

ASIF Ignite Africa, organized by BFA Global, is intended for entrepreneurs developing resilience or climate adaptation solutions for vulnerable areas with a prototype who must present it to actual users and emerge with solid evidence.

Weekly group workshops on AI methods and application, customer discovery, lean experimentation, and impact measurement, one-on-one office hours with experts in AI, product, and sector, subscriptions to specific tools, playbooks for testing in low-income, climate-vulnerable markets, and detailed feedback on your next steps from investors and industry experts are all available to selected ventures.

A polished, AI-enabled business model, proof of effect and demand from actual users, and a convincing appeal to outside stakeholders should be the founders’ takeaways. Promising graduates are highlighted for upcoming Propel batches.

Two cohorts of 13–14 founders will be chosen for the eight-week, entirely remote program. The program starts in October, and applications are accepted through August 17.
