B2B cloud-based supply chain marketplace India Index raised $500K Pre-seed funding

A group of American and Indian private investors led a $500K seed funding round for the B2B cloud-based supply chain marketplace known as India Index. The pre-seed round included investments from Parth Jindal (JSW Group), Vaaman Sehgal (Motherson Group), Robert Lansing (Westminster Capital), and other private investors.

Samir N. Kapadia founded India Index, a service that makes it easy for American buyers and Indian suppliers to find, screen, and vet supply chain partners.

The company asserts that since its founding, it has developed a sizable user network across India and the United States. Some of India’s largest businesses, including JSW Group and Bharat Forge Limited, use India Index to seize export opportunities in the American market.

Startups and corporations use the platform to find and assess supply chain partners, highlight their corporate values, and optimize business partnerships for greater profitability.
