Beverage brand Sorry Sugar raises $1 M Seed funding

Gurugram-based beverage company The Dhanuka family and Amishi London lead the $1 million seed fundraising round for Sorry Sugar.
According to the company, the money will be used to promote the launch of new products and increase its online and offline presence throughout North India.
This year, Deepak Pathak, Kunal Verma, Shashank Sherawat, and Saiyam Malik founded Sorry Sugar, a company that sells sugar-free drinks. Coffee-based flavors including Hazel Almond Latte, Silk Chocolate Mocha, Sea Salt Caramel, French Vanilla Cloud, and Butter Gooey Toffee are among its offerings.
Additionally, the company offers a five-flavor trial pack for Rs 399, which may be completely redeemed when upgrading to a larger pack.
Sorry Sugar claimed that their drinks had fiber and are sweetened with monk fruit. The business is marketing its goods as substitutes for customers who want to consume less sugar.
The company presently has three physical locations in Delhi and Gurugram and claims to have made over Rs 1 crore in revenue in its first month. By the conclusion of the current fiscal year, it hopes to achieve an ARR of more than Rs 60 crore. It intends to grow through offline retail, fast commerce, and D2C channels.
The company also intends to introduce a line of monk fruit-sweetened gelatos with no added sugar.
The funding coincides with an increase in the market for clean-label and functional beverages in India. In March of this year, Peping, a functional beverage firm that offers probiotic digestion shots and prebiotic fizzy beverages, raised Rs 2.5 crore from the IAN Angel Fund. In December of last year, Swizzle, a clean-label beverage firm, raised Rs 2 crore in seed money. TABP Snacks and Beverages, meanwhile, raised $3 million to broaden its network of production and distribution.
