Cap table & ESOP management startup EquityList raised $2.2 M Seed funding from Super Capital, others
The equity and shareholder management platform EquityList has received $2.2 million in seed funding from Riverwalk Holdings, Super Capital, Hustle Fund, Unpopular Ventures, Hustle Fund India, and Republic.
Angel investors including Tanmay Bhatt, Ramakant Sharma, Gajendra Jangid, Sairee Chahal, Rangarjan Krishnan, Sajid Rehman, and Faiz Mayalkarra also took part in the round.
According to a press release from EquityList, the company will use the funding to hire top talent and quicken its expansion plans.
EquityList, a full-stack equity and shareholder management platform for businesses in India, Singapore, and the US, has been in use since 2020 in beta within AngelList India. It offers stock options, data rooms, valuation services, cap table management, and related compliances.
This year, EquityList formally incorporated to operate as a separate company.
The platform, which is run by Kashish Sharma, says it has 260+ clients, including businesses like Blackbuck, Bizongo, Sugar Cosmetics, Slice, Cars24, Shiprocket, Smallcase, and Ditto Insurance.
EquityList is in competition with trica Equity, ZenEquity, Qapita, and Carta from LetsVenture. Qapita, based in Singapore, received a $15 million Series A round in October 2021. A16Z-backed After only a few months of operations, Carta left the Indian market in June.
