CCAvenue presents payment options using QR codes for the UAE market
The Indian fintech company Infibeam Avenues Ltd.’s UAE-based subsidiary, CCAvenue.ae, has announced the launch of its mobile-based QR Code payment solution in the UAE market, enabling merchants to capitalize on the offline payments landscape.
The company plans to introduce CCAvenue TapPay (SoftPoS) in the UAE market to give merchants additional offline payment options, thereby strengthening its position in the offline payment space.
This software, which is available for download from the Google Play Store, turns any smartphone with NFC support into a user-friendly point-of-sale system that accepts simple card payments with a single tap.
More than 5,000 businesses from a variety of industries, including Burj Khalifa, Emaar, Damac, Nakheel, and Trump Golf Dubai, are among the clients that CCAvenue serves in the UAE market. Furthermore, Infibeam Avenues has established a strong foothold in important international markets, including the United States, Australia, the Middle East and North Africa, and other regions.
In the past few months, CCAvenue claims to have onboarded several merchants, including well-known Dubai establishments like Prime Association Management and Jaffer Bhai’s The Biryani King of Bombay.
Over the course of the last six years, CCAvenue.ae has processed transactions totaling an amazing AED 24.5 billion, with a substantial total of approximately 23.5 million transactions processed to date.
