Commonwealth Startup Fellowship invites applications from African startups
The 2026/2027 Commonwealth Startup Fellowship, a six-month program aimed at assisting high-potential firms from low- and middle-income Commonwealth nations in growing their enterprises, luring investment, and generating employment, is open to African startups.
The fellowship, which is offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in collaboration with Imperial College London, blends online learning with immersive in-person experiences to give founders cutting-edge entrepreneurial skills, international connections, and useful business growth tactics.
By the program’s conclusion, participants should be better equipped to grow their businesses, make confident investment pitches, and increase their economic influence back home.
The fellowship consists of a week-long Capstone Week in London, UK, and a two-week boot camp in Accra, Ghana. A grant of up to GBP2,000 (US$2,700) for business or participation-related expenditures, as well as flights, lodging, and costs for the bootcamp in Accra and the UK, will be awarded to the successful applicants.
In addition to boosting the growth of their companies, the program gives founders access to international exposure, investor networks, mentorship, and top-notch entrepreneurship training.
