In its pre-Series A1 round, which was led by Ashish Kacholia of Lucky Investments and included participation from Speciale Invest and a family fund, cybersecurity technology company QNu Labs has raised $6.5 million.

The money raised will go toward strategic recruiting of senior engineers, marketers, and sales representatives. Additionally, in response to the growing demand from clients, it will accelerate the deployment of their solutions.

Using patented technology, QNu Labs was founded by Sunil Gupta, Srinivasa Rao Aluri, Mark Mathias, and Anil Prabhakar. The company provides quantum and post-quantum cryptography solutions and guarantees confidentiality and privacy against modern attacks that target communication, critical infrastructure, and personally identifiable data.

The startup states that it has collaborated with several well-known companies in India and abroad, including Airtel, Bharat Electronics, IN-SPACe, and others.

In the field of quantum-safe cybersecurity, QNu competes with Qulabs, Scytale Alpha, and Qpi, three other Indian startups.
