DIV Fund invites African entrepreneurs to apply for up to $1,500

The global DIV Fund has extended an invitation to African tech firms to apply for up to US$1.5 million.

Innovations in a variety of fields, including as health, livelihoods, education, agriculture, and climate change, are welcome under the DIV Fund initiative. This flexibility makes it possible for a variety of approaches to social and economic problems to be eligible.

There are three phases to the fund’s structure. In stage one, early-stage ideas can receive up to US$200,000 to test and validate their concept; in stage two, scaling efforts are supported with funding of up to US$500,000, and in exceptional cases, up to US$750,000; and in stage three, solutions ready for large-scale expansion can receive up to US$1.5 million.

The fund is accessible worldwide, but projects that receive funding must concentrate on enhancing the quality of life in impoverished nations. The deadline for applications is September 30.
