Drone startup Indrones secured Rs 7 Cr from MapMyIndia
Startup offering drone technology solutions, Indrones, has received a Rs 7 crore investment lead by MapMyIndia.
According to a news statement from Indrones, the firm intends to use the cash obtained to further improve its products and offers and further the development of digital solutions for the drone industry that are on par with international standards.
Indrones is an Indian manufacturer of commercial-grade drones and a drone as a service (DaaS) provider that was established in 2015 by Pravin Prajapati. The business specialises in offering complete drone solutions, from data collection that meets international industry standards through processing and giving in-depth analysis for useful intelligence.
Indrones specialises in producing drones for various use cases and offering drone-based solutions for verticals like smart cities, the government, construction, oil & gas, agriculture, etc. Indrones has also developed technologies that enable extremely efficient and reasonably priced data collection, processing, and analytics.
Since 1995, MapMyIndia has been a pioneer in developing deep-tech digital maps-based products, platforms, and solutions. The company claims to have served more than 2000 top-tier businesses in both the public and private sectors, and it will soon be able to provide its clients with market-leading drones and drone-based solutions. The business claims that its consumer-facing Mappls app would provide more high-definition and 3D maps, based on data acquired by drones, providing users with unmatched, immersive, and metaverse experiences.
