Edtech platform YoLearn.ai raises $500K Pre-seed funding from DataAlpha.ai, White Swan Global

YoLearn.ai, a voice-first AI tutoring platform, has raised $500,000 in a pre-seed investment round led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, with participation from a group of angel investors, at a valuation of $5 million.
According to a press release from YoLearn, the funds will be used to extend distribution throughout India’s school and competitive test environment and scale its AI teaching offerings, including a voice-first audiovisual tutor with live sketchpad capabilities.
YoLearn.ai, a voice-first AI tutoring platform founded in January 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, is built around real-time audio conversations and a live interactive sketchpad that enables the AI tutor to work through problems and draw diagrams while verbally explaining concepts, much like a teacher at a whiteboard.
Students in Grades 9 through 12 use the site the most, balancing board exam preparation with competitive exams like JEE, NEET, and CUET. The portal serves K–12 students across NCERT, CBSE, ICSE, and state board curricula. The AI instructor tailors lessons to each student’s pace, language, and detected knowledge gaps, according to the business, which claims that its information is mapped with 100% syllabus accuracy across board and competitive exam curricula.
The platform allows voice interaction in 22 Indian languages, including Hindi and Hinglish. It also provides “AI Avatar” replicas of actual school teachers for partner schools, as well as AI tutor personalities based on the teaching philosophies of well-known educators.
The platform is accessible through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store as a web application (yolearn.ai) and native apps for iOS and Android under the name YoTutor.ai. YoLearn.ai has more than 200,000 total users across all three platforms.
SiglQ.AI, Fermi.AI, Arivihan.AI, CK-12, MagicSchool.AI, and Lytmus.AI are some of the prominent competitors in the field.
