Fashion discovery platform Slayd raises Rs 1.5 Cr Pre-seed funding from ajvc

Gurugram-based fashion discovery startup Slayd has secured Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by AJVC, the early-stage venture fund founded by Aviral Bhatnagar.
The latest funding values Slayd at approximately Rs 16.66 crore on a post-money basis. The company plans to deploy the capital towards team expansion and scaling its private-label venture, Slayd Originals.
Slayd was founded in 2025 by IIT Roorkee graduates Sparsh Jain, Harsh Porwal and Kumar Prasang. The platform brings together fashion products from more than 300 marketplaces and direct-to-consumer brands. It adds nearly 1 lakh products each month and uses a proprietary model that analyses more than eight signals to spot emerging fashion trends.
The startup said its user base has crossed 200,000, with more than 40% of users returning in the first month. Its most active users visit the platform more than 10 times a month, while over 2,000 products are currently classified by Slayd as emerging hotsellers.
Beyond its product aggregation model, Slayd uses personalised feeds and theme-led collections to help shoppers discover fashion products across different platforms.
The company has also expanded into private labels through Slayd Originals, which entered beta earlier this year. According to Slayd, the brand is currently processing around 1,000 orders each month.
Cofounder Sparsh Jain said the large number of new apparel launches across fragmented e-commerce platforms makes it difficult for consumers to determine which products are gaining traction. He said Slayd aims to address this gap by building a discovery layer that brings trending products together.
The startup also uses the product and trend insights generated on its platform to determine which styles could be developed through Slayd Originals.
Cofounder Harsh Porwal said this data allows the company to identify consumer demand before developing products itself. He added that greater control over design and supply enables Slayd to offer high-demand styles at competitive prices while maintaining quality and consistency.
Following the funding round, Slayd plans to grow its workforce and further expand Slayd Originals.
