Fifth Accelerate Africa programme open for applications

The Accelerate Africa program’s fourth edition, which will begin in Lagos in August, is now accepting applications.
Accelerate Africa is a founder-focused startup accelerator committed to helping fearless and visionary African entrepreneurs create scalable companies that tackle the most important issues facing the continent.
The program, which was created especially for early-stage startups, helps founders turn creative ideas into globally competitive companies by providing them with access to high-level networks, operational guidance, strategic advisory support, and mentorship.
A cohort of ten startups is chosen for the 12-week program, which helps them with five crucial pillars that are thought to be necessary for startup growth and sustainability: storytelling, people and operations, go-to-market strategy, product development, and fundraising.
Each founder has access to advisors with real-world entrepreneurial experience in Africa, as well as one-on-one coaching and advice from seasoned operators and investors. Legal office hours, financial counseling sessions, technology support clinics, and business operations advice are also available to participants.
In contrast to many accelerator programs, Accelerate Africa does not require equity at the time of admission. However, founders may receive optional investment offers from Future Africa and the Accelerate Africa Fund at the program’s conclusion, which takes place during a demo day in November. Funding for pre-seed and seed stages ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 USD.
Applications are open here until July 26.
