For catalytic capital, Aqua for All looks for fund managers with an impact

Impact-driven fund managers with private debt, private equity, natural capital, infrastructure, or other real-asset strategies are encouraged to apply for catalytic funding from Aqua for All in order to expand their influence in emerging markets across water, sanitation, and closely related nexus sectors like energy and climate.
In order to help de-risk investments and mobilize private sector finance while producing quantifiable environmental and social effects, Aqua for All will offer equity or first-loss equity together with technical assistance.
“We seek to partner with fund managers who have a strong track record of deploying capital effectively in emerging markets to advance SDG 6,” said Aqua for All.
Building on the initial call for fund manager applications that was issued a year ago in collaboration with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) under the Catalyzing Impact with Innovative Financing program, this is the organization’s second call.
To encourage private capital engagement, the initiative gives up to EUR150,000 (US$170,000) in technical assistance in addition to investments ranging from EUR1 million (US$1.15 million) to EUR5 million (US$5.7 million) in private funds.
Applications are open here until August 31.
