General Catalyst led $2.75 M Seed funding raised by Jeh Aerospace
Angel investors Pratyush Kumar and Dwarkanath Srinivas have contributed to the $2.75 million seed funding round led by General Catalyst, which was attended by the aerospace and defense manufacturing startup Jeh Aerospace.
According to a statement provided to Entrackr by Jeh Aerospace, the money will be used to develop infrastructure, spur expansion, and assemble a strong team in order to revolutionize the supply chain experience for customers in the aerospace industry worldwide.
In the following six to nine months, the company hopes to assemble a team of one hundred employees.
Venkatesh Mudragalla and Vishal Sanghavi co-founded Jeh Aerospace in 2022 to provide manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain management solutions to the global aerospace and defense sector. It meets strict quality standards and specializes in aerostructure and aero-engine components and assemblies.
Commenting on the funding, Jeh Aerospace’s co-founders Vishal Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla said, “This is the most challenging of times and also the most exciting of times for the global aerospace and defence industry. We have found strong traction with global customers, helping them improve delivery and supporting their growth needs. We are excited about our upcoming journey and thank all our investors for supporting our tryst with entrepreneurship.”
It operates on a hybrid model in which certain components are produced internally.
Its goal, according to Jeh Aerospace, is to address the industry’s problems with global supply chains. The company’s scalable manufacturing facilities and verified supplier networks that fulfill or surpass international quality standards enable it to offer ready manufacturing solutions to the A&D sector.
Jeh Aerospace states that it has provided services to 100 companies so far and is active in the US and Indian markets.
